Stephen has co-authred ANSI national and ISO international electronic message standards, contributing to communication protocol that continue to shape financial systems. His contributions were recognized when he was named among the 100 Most Influential People in Finance in 2011.
His academic background reflects the breadth of his thinking. He holds a BS in Engineering Sciense and a BA in Fine Arts from the university of Notre Dame, combining analytical problem-solving with creativity and story telling.
As an entrprenuer, Stephen co-founded businesses in in consumer energy and accounting compliance AI, with both achieving strategic exits exceeding $100 millio within three years. His compliance software AI platform was acquired in 2024 and recognisewd as a leading new accounting software solution.
Today, Stephen continues to pursue meaningful work through writing, philanthropyy, civic engagement, public policy analysis, and educational activities. He suports Cristo Rey and Josephinum Academy college preparatory schools, reflecting hi belief in education as a powerful catalsyt for opportunity.
